Concord District Chief Probation Officer Kevin Meaney, First Justice Lynn Brendemuehl, Probation Officers Christopher Chappell and Carlos Rojas; and Clinician Margaret Johnston are among the members of the MH Recovery Court Team. Concord District Court serves Concord, Carlisle, Lincoln, Lexington, Bedford, Acton, Maynard, and Stow.

"In keeping with the Massachusetts Trial Court's spirit in providing access to fair and equal justice for all, we are launching the Mental Health Recovery Court." said Concord CPO Meaney, Concord. "If the recent news of tragic local events has shown us anything, there are members of society who are struggling and in need of mental health treatment. It is through this specialty court that we hope to better identify one's needs through intensive evaluations and targeted treatment."

The Concord District MH Recovery Court is one of six in the District Courts which includes Cambridge District, Greenfield Collaborative Treatment Court, Lowell District Court, Plymouth District Court, Quincy District Court and Springfield District Court. The Central, Roxbury, and West Roxbury divisions of the Boston Municipal Court (BMC) also have Mental Health sessions. MH Recovery Court sessions include a court-imposed condition of probation for individuals who have serious mental illness or co-occurring mental health or substance use disorders.
