Press Release  Daigle found not guilty on sexual assault charges

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was found not guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on sexual assault charges.  The jury deliberated for about 4 hours before returning its verdict against 39 year old ERIC DAIGLE. 

DAIGLE was found not guilty on ten (10) counts of RAPE OF A CHILD, WITH FORCE and three (3) counts of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CHILD UNDER 14. 

It was alleged that DAIGLE sexually assaulted a male, who is now 21 years of age, in Pittsfield and Adams between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2008. 

The investigation was conducted by state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
