PITTSFIELD — A Lanesborough man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court. 36 year old CHARLES DAVIS appeared before Judge John Agostini.

DAVIS pleaded guilty to one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 385 day sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction.

The charge stems from an incident involving a 48 year old Pittsfield man, in Pittsfield between December 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.

One (1) count of ASSAULT BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
