Media Contact for Delia enters not guilty pleas on gun and drug charges

PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on drug and firearm charges. 30 year old HASSAN J. DELIA (129 East Quincy Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
DELIA had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN, one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE, one (1) count of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of NEGLIGENT OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, one (1) count of OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE and one (1) count of FAILURE TO STOP FOR A POLICE OFFICER. Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $30,000 bail.
The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in North Adams and the execution of a search warrant at his home on November 4, 2018.
The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Adams Police Departments, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
