PITTSFIELD — A Springfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge.  43 year old JOHN A. DYER, SR. appeared before Judge John Agostini.    

DYER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 2 to 3 year state prison sentence at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.  DYER will begin serving his sentence on January 10, 2019.    

The incident occurred in Pittsfield on March 24, 2017. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
