As of January 24, 2022, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue will accept income tax returns that are filed electronically. DOR will conduct a soft opening for a few days to test the system to be certain it’s running optimally. For more information, take a look at the filing season overview and the video presentation that detail what you need to know for this tax filing season. Income tax returns and payments are due by April 19, 2022 to allow for holidays in D.C. and MA.
