It was October 30th, 1974 when Gloria Maniscalco first joined the Massachusetts Probation Service as a clerk stenographer at East Boston District Court.

Today, Ms. Maniscalo’s colleagues celebrated this half-century milestone at the court where she was presented with a plaque for service to the courts, Probation, East Boston community, and the Commonwealth.

“Gloria Maniscalco has made an indelible mark as the East Boston Probation Office Manager. With unwavering commitment, Ms. Maniscalco has navigated challenges, implemented innovative strategies, and fostered a supportive environment for both staff and clients. Gloria’s leadership has transformed the office, ensuring effective service for the Court and the public. Colleagues and clients alike admire Gloria’s integrity, compassion, and sense of humor. Here’s to a remarkable career and a lasting legacy!,” said East Boston Chief Probation Officer Matthew McDonough.
