To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, the Eastern Essex District Department of Veterans' Services partnered with the Rene J. Gagnon American Legion Post 211 to host a Veterans Breakfast at Byfield Parish Fellowship Hall. This meaningful event recognized the bravery and sacrifice of Vietnam veterans, as well as the families of those who never returned home. Veterans gathered to share stories, reflect on their service, and receive heartfelt appreciation from the community. The event was a powerful reminder that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
