Probation staff—Probation Officer II Kevin McDonald, PO Jennifer Martins and PO Alyssa Graham— from Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown participated in its very first National Night Out where they engaged with members of the community as well as first responders, police, and local agencies this past Tuesday.

National Night Out was held at Chestnut School in Belchertown. The staff set up a table where they provided snacks—including Rice Crispy treats, Goldfish crackers, lollipops, fruit snacks, and Sour Patch candies—and basket raffles for such prizes as a soccer basket, bounce ball basket, and tennis basket.

“This was our first time participating in National Night Out activities and it won’t be our last. It was a great opportunity to engage with the community and I share resources as well as interact with affiliate agencies and community organizations,” said Chief Probation Officer Kristy Paciorek.
