The Operational Services Division (OSD) is focused on continual improvement and efficient delivery of services to customers. In this spirit, the State Surplus Property Office (SSPO) launched a new webpage to help customers locate OSD-facilitated online auctions.
Introducing MassOSDAuctions.com
For years, customers have searched through hundreds of postings on the auction host website, Auctions International, to locate OSD auctions. With the launch of MassOSDAuctions.com, visitors simply visit the site and scroll down to the “Current OSD Auctions” section to view recent listings, including active lots.
With each listing posted, visitors find information about the auction location, the date and time bidding closes, the number of items for sale, and a link that brings them straight to the auction page on the Auctions International website. Additional information about items may be found by clicking on images in the lot listing.
Unlike items available for transfer through the Surplus Property Listing website, which are available only to State Agencies, municipalities, and qualified non-profits, OSD’s online auctions are open to the general public. Most auctions consist of vehicles and vehicle accessories, though other items are available from agency locations on occasion.
The SSPO hopes that customers find this new webpage to be a useful and time-saving resource when searching for OSD-facilitated auctions. To bid on OSD’s online auctions, users must register for an account through the Auctions International website.
