PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 39 year old SIMONE M. FARNUM (51 Seymour Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
FARNUM had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF HEROIN (2nd offense), one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF HEROIN, one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE. Judge Agostini released her on personal recognizance.
The charges stem from the sale of heroin and cocaine in Pittsfield on August 17, 2017.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force.
