The State Ethics Commission mourns the passing of former Commissioner Nonnie S. Burnes, who died August 14 at age 79. An attorney at the Boston law firm Hill & Barlow, Ms. Burnes served on the State Ethics Commission from 1994-1996 before she was appointed by Gov. William Weld as an associate justice in the Superior Court. An obituary may be viewed here.
