Cape and Islands — At approximately 1:50 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 Barnstable Police received several 911 calls from various parties regarding a violent crime which had taken place at 89 Trout Brook Road, Cotuit, MA.
Police arrived shortly thereafter and observed an individual, Christoper S. Fratantonio, DOB 11/28/80. He was subsequently arrested for the murder of his wife Mary J. Fratantonio DOB 6/11/81. Both parties resided at the Cotuit address.
Crime scene services from the Massachusetts State Police continue to process the scene.
The matter remains under investigation by Barnstable Police and State Police Detectives assigned to District Attorney Michael O’Keefe’s office.
