PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 45 year old GREGORY A. FRYE appeared before Judge John Agostini.

FRYE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER. Judge Agostini placed him on $25 bail as is serving a prison sentence on other charges.

The charges stem from an incident at the Berkshire County House of Correction on October 3, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office.
