PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man, found guilty July 12th, was sentenced this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court. The jury deliberated for about three hours before returning its verdict against 30 year old RASHARD S. GARNETT.
GARNETT was found guilty on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE. Judge John Agostini ordered that he serve a 6 month sentence to the Berkshire County House of Correction.
The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant on West Street, in Pittsfield, on March 22, 2016.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sherriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
