PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  32 year old JACALYN J. GAVIN (46 Hawthorne Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

GAVIN had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN.  Judge Agostini released her on personal recognizance.        

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lenox on July 15, 2017.    

The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the Lee barracks.
