Press Release  Gombar held without bail on kidnapping charge

PITTSFIELD — A Chatham, New York man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  34 year old ANDREW GOMBAR (69 Kinderhook Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

GOMBAR had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of KIDNAPPING and one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail.       

The charges stem from an incident in Stockbridge, involving a 31 year old woman, on July 2, 2018.    

The investigation is being conducted by members of the Stockbridge Police Department with the assistance of the Lenox Police Department, state troopers from the Lee barracks, state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and the Crime Scene Services Section of the Massachusetts state police.
