PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 36 year old LEMOND E. GRADY appeared before Judge Mark Mason.
GRADY had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of UNARMED ROBBERY and one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A PERSON 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Judge Mason ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $1,000 cash or $10,000 surety bail.
It is alleged that GRADY took money from the Pizza House, on Tyler Street, in Pittsfield on March 28, 2018. It is also alleged he assaulted a 63 year old employee during the incident.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
