Press Release  Green pleads guilty to a drug charge

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge.  38 year old WAYNE E. GREEN appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

GREEN pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 2 year sentence to the Berkshire County House of Correction.       

The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at GREEN’S Pittsfield home and a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on March 3, 2017.      

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
