PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge. 49 year old CORNELL F. GRIFFIN a/k/a CORNWELL GRIFFIN appeared before Judge John Agostini.
GRIFFIN pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 2 year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction.
The charge stems from an incident in Pittsfield on June 26, 2017.
One (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
