PITTSFIELDA Dalton man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 30 year old ANDREW J. HARDING (18 Depot Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.

HARDING had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE. Judge Agostini released him on $2,000 bail.

Those charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lenox on September 27, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
