Press Release  Haverhill Man Arraigned for Manslaughter

Haverhill, Massachusetts — Ross Tucker, 22, of 6 Innisfree Drive, Haverhill, was arraigned today in Salem Superior Court for Manslaughter and Carrying a Firearm While Under the Influence in connection with the February 1st shooting death of Eric Benedict.  Judge Timothy Feeley imposed $5,000 cash bail and ordered the defendant to remain drug and alcohol free, submit to random screens and not to possess or be in the presence of firearms.

An Essex County Grand Jury indicted Mr. Tucker on the charges yesterday following a Grand Jury investigation led by Essex Assistant District Attorney Ashlee Logan.  The defendant is represented by Attorney Scott Gleason and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for March 25, 2016.
