PITTSFIELD A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug and gun charges.  27 year old ANTONIO HERNANDEZ (58.5 Central Avenue) appeared before Judge Mark Mason.

HERNANDEZ had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of MANUFACTURING COCAINE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD and one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN.  Judge Mason released him on $5,000 bail.           

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 2, 2018.       

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
