Press Release  Jackson arraigned on drug charges

PITTSFIELD —  A Springfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  22 year old RAEKWAN JACKSON (304 Orange Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan.

JACKSON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of UNLICENSED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE.  Judge Hogan released him on personal recognizance.          

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on March 21, 2018.       

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
