PittsfieldA Springfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  22 year old RAEKWAN JACKSON appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

JACKSON pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of UNLICENSED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE.  Judge Ford ordered that he serve probation for 6 months on the drug charges.  The charge of UNLICENSED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE was placed on file.           

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on March 21, 2018.       

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
