PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 33 year old CLINTON E. JENNINGS (312 Wahconah Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.

JENNINGS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN, one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $20,000 bail.

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lanesborough on September 19, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Lanesborough and Pittsfield Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
