Press Release  King arrigned in Superior Court on firearms charges

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on firearm charges.  30 year old MARCELLE N. KING (73 Lincoln Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

KING had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD and one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER $250.  Judge Agostini released him on $500 bail.  

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 9, 2018. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
