PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was in Berkshire Superior Court this afternoon on several charges. 24 year old ALEXIS A. LOPEZ appeared before Judge John Agostini.
LOPEZ had seven (7) counts of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A DISABLED PERSON, six (6) counts of CARETAKER ABUSE ON A DISABLED PERSON and one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY SERIOUS BODILY INJURY continued without a change of plea for one year on the condition he complete anger management counseling.
It was alleged that LOPEZ, while employed by the Eagleton School, assaulted five students. The incidents were alleged to have occurred between January 1, 2015 and January 28, 2016.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department and State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
