Pittsfield — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 39 year old CHAD R. LUTZ (17 Hall Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

LUTZ had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS in connection with a motor vehicle stop in Savoy on January 23, 2018.

Judge Ford released him on $1,000 bail.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
