Press Release  Mackie enters not guilty pleas on drug charges

PITTSFIELD A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  38 year old DAVID S. MACKIE (45.5 High Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan.

MACKIE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF CLONAZEPAM WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF LORAZEPAM WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Hogan released him on $1,000 bail.          

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on January 8, 2018.         

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
