Malden District Court Probation staff helped run activities at National Night Out festivities, hosted by the Malden Police Department, yesterday, Tuesday, August 6th, at MacDonald Stadium. Several staff members brought their families, including their children, and colleagues from neighboring courts also supported Malden Probation by attending this annual event. National Night Out, which falls on the first Tuesday night in August, celebrates community partnerships with law enforcement, first responders, and community-centered agencies such as the Massachusetts Probation Service.
“The event was a big success with the kids. Our Probation staff managed a great tattoo station, handed out swag, played cornhole with the kids, and interacted with the public demonstrating the great work we all do every day! POs also brought their children to the event, and they seemed to really enjoy it too!,” said Marisa Cogliandro-Vaughan, Malden District Court Chief Probation Officer.
Among the Malden Probation staff who attended are: CPO Marisa Cogliandro-Vaughan, ACPO Jennifer Donahue, PO Nicole Guidoboni, PO Robert Courtney, PO Gianna Franco, PO Keone Coleman, PO Alyssa Yearwood, PO Cynthia Russell, PO Timothy Labelle, APO Aryanne Martin, PCS Angelica Tyson, SCC Ashley Newman and PCS Melba Romero.
Cambridge District Court Probation staff also came out to support their Malden Probation Colleagues and they included Cambridge District Chief Probation Officer Damon Banks and Probation Office Manager Tara Driscoll. Community engagement is a top priority of Probation Commissioner Pamerson Ifill and his Executive Leadership staff.
