Marlborough District Court Probation staff provided healthy snacks to Acton-Boxborough High School seniors who participated in their April 17th Community Service Day.

“We wanted to make sure that they had something to snack on while they were giving back to the community as well as share with others,” said Lynn Dadekian, Marlborough District Court Chief Probation Officer.

Chief Dadekian added, “I really want to thank PO Ashley Losapio who spearheaded this endeavor. Also, Facilities Supervisor Jeff O’Brien for helping load up the boxes and Alba Cooksey for helping to shop and transport the snack bags. We are all very lucky to have such committed and generous people as our colleagues.”

The snacks included granola bars, fruit, water, and more, according to Chief Dadekian. Marlborough District Probation’s donation was one of a number of community engagement activities Probation is involved with.

Students fanned out across the towns and worked on community service projects at multiple sites.

One group of students traveled to an elementary school where they digitized students’ art work for an online art book for parents.
