Boston The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be hosting "Touch-A-Truck" events at highway district depots on Saturday, May 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Families can touch and look at heavy equipment vehicles including a dump truck, bucket truck, plows and more. This is a family-friendly event that connects the community with MassDOT employees who keep the Commonwealth's roadways safe and maintained year-round. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather on May 18, the event will be held instead on Saturday, June 1.
