PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 29 year old JOSHUA M. MAYOTTE (164 Onota Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
MAYOTTE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD, one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY and one (1) count of ARMED CAREER FELON. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at MAYOTTE’S home on September 7, 2018.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
