Press Release  Mazzeo pleads guilty, placed on probation

PITTSFIELDA Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges. 39 year old ROBERTO V. MAZZEO appeared before Judge John Agostini.

MAZZEO pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF PSILOCYBIN MUSHROOMS WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250. Judge Agostini placed him on 1 year probation on the condition MAZZEO refrain from using illegal drugs and undergo testing during the probationary period.

The charges stem from an incident at MAZZEO’S Pittsfield home on November 25, 2014.

One (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, two (2) counts of POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE and one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
