PITTSFIELDA North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 38 year old TYREE A. MCKINNON (153 State Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

MCKINNON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF SUBOXONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF CLONAZEPAM (2nd offense). Judge Ford released him on $1,500 bail.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant on Houghton Street in North Adams on November 3, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
