PITTSFIELDA Lenox man appeared in Berkshire Superior Court this morning on several charges.  53 year old PETER H. MEADOW appeared before Judge Mark Mason.

MEADOW admitted the facts of his case were sufficient to find him guilty on the following charges: one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON, one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A DISABLED PERSON and one (1) count of CARETAKER ABUSE ON A DISABLED PERSON.  Judge Mason continued the charges against MEADOW for one year without a finding.

MEADOW, while employed by the Eagleton School, assaulted a student between December 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
