PITTSFIELDA Pittsfield man, who pleaded guilty on September 13th, was sentenced this morning in Berkshire Superior Court.  39 year old NAQUAN T. MILLER appeared before Judge John Agostini.   

MILLER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE in connection with the execution of a search warrant at his Elizabeth Street home on July 15, 2016. 

MILLER also pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE in connection with a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on April 16, 2017.   

Judge Agostini ordered that MILLER serve a 2 year sentence to the Berkshire County House of Correction on the charge of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  He was given an 18 month house of correction sentence, to be served on and after the first sentence, on the POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE charge.     

The investigations were conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.

(Note: MILLER will serve 3 and a half years at the Berkshire County House of Correction.)
