PITTSFIELDA Hudson, New York man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  32 year old GARY P. MONTANA appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MONTANA had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of AGGRAVATED RAPE OF A CHILD WITH FORCE, one (1) count of AGGRAVATED INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CHILD UNDER 14 and one (1) count of POSING A CHILD IN A SEXUAL ACT.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail pending a dangerousness hearing on September 19th.    

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield on January 1, 2018 and involved an 18 month old boy.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
