PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 48 year old CARLTON W. MOORE III (88 Cromwell Avenue) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

MOORE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of OPERATING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL (5th offense), one (1) count of OPERATING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL WHILE HAVING A SUSPENDED LICENSE FOR AN OPERATING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OFFENSE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A CLASS E SUBSTANCE. Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail.

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on October 21, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
