News  MTOC celebrates Cultural Appreciation Week with fun games, sweet treats, artwork and music

MTOC employees played trivia, Cultural Diversity Bingo, and a Chili Tasting Contest. Staff also enjoyed a delicious lunch and sweet treats, artwork by Clinton Public School and Gerald Creamer Center School students, and live music.

MPS Training and Operations Center (MTOC) employees celebrated Cultural Appreciation Week by engaging in trivia, Cultural Diversity Bingo, and a Chili Tasting Contest. The winner of the Chili Contest was the Administrative Supervision Unit.

The competing teams included: The Training Division, ELMO and the Warrant Management Unit, the Administrative Supervision Unit, the Information Services Unit, the Victim Services Unit, the Pre-trial Services Unit and Reception.

The Probation staff enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring such dishes as vegetable lo mein, Italian sausage and meatballs, Greek salad, German chocolate cupcakes and many more delicious eats! Art work created by Clinton Public Schools students was on display. Students from the Gerald Creamer Center School were on hand to share their paintings and sketches which are also on display at MTOC.

Talented pianist Patrick Perla, ACPO of the Administrative Supervision Unit, played a number of popular tunes as his colleagues enjoyed the lunchtime concert.

MPS's celebration also featured a food truck which specializes in mini donuts called DonutNV.
