PITTSFIELDA Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  34 year old LAWRENCE P. MURRAY appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan. 

MURRAY pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of FAILURE TO FILE A REPORT OF CHILD ABUSE AS A MANDATED REPORTER and one (1) count of MISLEADING A POLICE OFFICER OR OTHER PERSON.  Judge Hogan accepted the plea and then continued the case without a finding for one year.      

The incidents occurred while MURRAY was employed by the Eagleton School and occurred between November 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
