PITTSFIELDA Williamstown man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court. 32 year old THOMAS R. NELSON appeared before Judge John Agostini.

NELSON pleaded guilty to one (1) count of DISSEMINATING HARMFUL MATTER TO A MINOR. Judge Agostini placed him on probation for 2 years on the condition NELSON have no unsupervised contact with minors, undergo counseling and wear a GPS monitor during the probationary period.

The incident occurred in Williamstown between April 1, 2016 and August 11, 2016 and involved a girl who is now 14 years of age.

Two (2) counts of ENTICING A CHILD UNDER 16 were dismissed by the Court.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Williamstown Police Department.
