Press Release  Parsons enters not guilty pleas on drug charges

PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  46 year old SHAWN A. PARSONS (212 Eagle Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan.

PARSONS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2^nd offense) and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN (2^nd offense).  Judge Hogan ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.           

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 2, 2018.      

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
