PITTSFIELD — A Holyoke man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge. 29year old JASON P. PENNELL appeared before Judge John Agostini.
PENNELL pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 120 day sentence at the Hampden County House of Correction.
The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant in Williamstown on January 18, 2017.
One (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Williamstown and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
