PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges. 22 year old TRAVIS T. PERRAS appeared before Judge John Agostini.
PERRAS pleaded guilty to one (1) count of ARMED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO ROB and one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 4 to 6 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.
PERRAS stabbed and attempted to rob a 51 year old pizza delivery driver in North Adams on July 14, 2017.
One (1) count of ARMED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO MURDER was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
