PITTSFIELD — A North Adams woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 36 year old CHASTITY A. PHOENIX (172 Houghton Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

PHOENIX had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. Judge Ford released her on personal recognizance.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on November 3, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
