PITTSFIELDA North Adams man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge.  41 year old JOSEPH M. PINI a/k/a JOSEPH G. CAMPBELL and JOSEPH G. PINI appeared before Judge John Agostini 

PINI pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE in connection the execution of a search warrant at his home on August 9, 2017.

Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 2 year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $25,000 bail. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Pittsfield Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
