The event featured remarks by Court Administrator Thomas Ambrosino and Probation Commissioner Pamerson Ifill. Court staff and representatives from community organizations, including the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department, presented and provided tips on navigating the court and legal system.

Irish Step dancing, performed by Scoil Rince Breifne O' Ruairc Dance School, and an art display of self portraits by local school children were among the highlights. Thai food was served by Flavours Food Truck.

Pittsfield District is a "Signature Court," a designated court site visited by state court and community leaders. Pittsfield's celebration is one of many events being held at courthouses and court offices across the state Monday, October 21- Friday, October 25, to celebrate diversity and culture in the courts and community. This statewide celebration is believed to be the largest and longest running event of its kind at any U.S. court.
