Press Release  Pittsfield Police Investigating Edward Avenue Homicide (PPD)

Pittsfield — On Sunday January 20 2018 at approximately 2:13 AM, members of the Pittsfield Police Department responded to an outside location on Edward Avenue for a report of a possible gunshot victim.  Upon their arrival, they discovered an adult male who appeared to have sustained at least one gunshot wound.  The man was pronounced dead on the scene.  The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
